2018 All County Meet - FINAL Information

The final All County meet results are now imported into SwimTopia. I always look first at the meet summary statistics, and I was once again very impressed with our team’s performance! Our summer swim season is so short, it’s difficult to improve on swimmer’s best time every meet. That said, our swimmers managed to improve on about 49% of the events swam! That’s impressive, clearly our swimmers rose to the challenge of a large venue swim meet! Our swimmers had fun and swam well, that’s what matters!
Even though we only had 43 swimmers participate, they managed to set ELEVEN Muirfield Team Records! Clearly, the kids were ready to go and swam very well! Congratulations to all the new swim team record holders!
It’s impressive anytime a team record is broken, but I want to note that Caitlin Mattingly broke team records in ALL FOUR of her individual events! Also, Brooke Anderson set the team record for the 50 Backstroke in what is unfortunately was her last Marlin swim meet. For those that aren’t aware, our longtime teammates Tara and Brooke are relocating to Oklahoma. I think that Brooke wanted to make sure she put the Anderson name on the record board before they move West!
