Hello Marlins, 

I always like to send one final email to wrap up the season, and this year is no exception.  Since we didn't get to make our announcements at the party, I wanted to at least email them- I have a few thank yous to extend: 

• Julie Stemme and Sandra Davenport- they have managed our concession stand for years, and we appreciate them.  Sandra is moving into the role of treasurer, and the First and Lawlor families are taking over concessions.  
• Derek and Andrea Freund- Andrea managed the merchandise order and distribution this year, and Derek handled bullpen training and set up.  Thank you!
• Jamie Rader- Thank you for being our treasurer the last several years!
• Krista Phillips- Krista has been managing the data and organization of swim meets for The Marlins for the last 4 seasons.  She is a wizard at combining heats and events, and she has been a fun person to manage the team with.  We appreciate you, Krista and will miss you!  David Baugh is stepping into the data manager roll, and we are happy to have him.  
• Coaches- We have the best coaches, hands down.  Their blend of skill, knowledge and experience with kids is unmatched.  Thank you, Coaches!

Next Season

We will open registration for next season around March 1, as we typically do.  You will receive the first email about registration, and you will have first chance to register.  Do not expect to hear any communication regarding registration until closer to March.  For those who like to plan vacations, our swim meet dates for 2025 are: 

June 16- HOME

June 23

June 30-HOME

July 14

July 21-HOME

July 28

Swimmers interested in Coaching

In the interest of transparency, we have many swimmers who have expressed interest in coaching- more than we could possibly have.  We are not adding coaches, but we will replace any who cannot return.  

The process to apply for coaching will be emailed in January/February.  We will send one email to parents on the team with instructions for swimmers to apply.  It will be a paper application that will need to be printed and mailed. 

Thank you for all of your help this season.  We could not have a swim team without the help that you all provide.  We wish everyone a wonderful school year, and we hope to see you back on the pool deck for our 2025 season!
